Non-pressurized pipe lining
Nu Drain™
Aquam’s Nu Drain™ pipe rehabilitation solution is used to rehabilitate non-pressurized pipe infrastructures.
This solution has patent protection on the flexible flat bladder system that allows for lining around bends in pipe infrastructures. The process begins with a felt based liner saturated in epoxy, over a bladder, which is pulled inside the existing host pipe infrastructure and inflated. After the epoxy has hardened, the bladder is removed leaving a new pipe within the old pipe infrastructure. The key advantages of the Nu Drain™ solution are that the epoxy does not shrink so the liner remains tight to the host pipe; the liner is structural and will become the new pipe in the event that the host pipe deteriorates; and the solution can be used in smaller diameters and around multiple elbows without sacrificing structural integrity.
This innovative, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining system creates a long-term, structural pipe inside the existing host pipe system without digging or destruction to buildings or landscape. The pipe is rehabilitated to a better-than-new condition, with an increased flow rate, eliminated weakened joints, sealed cracks and eradicating the chance of groundwater pollution. The Nu Flow structural lining technology is best suited for 3/4“ to 12” in diameter. Specialty applications are available for larger pipe systems.
