Pipe Tracing

Aquam uses two different processes of pipe tracing to locate your pipes, septic tanks, cleanouts, wells, and valves. Both allow for tracing and marketing the ground with locations and depth of the lines.

If the line is 1-1/2” in diameter or larger a transmitter built in to the camera head is used. Then we locate the camera head from above ground with a receiver. The receiver will pinpoint the location of the camera head and will provides the depth of the line. If the line is less than 1-1/2” diameter we utilize a sonde as a transmitter on a pushrod to pinpoint with the receiver the location or if it is of a metallic nature we can direct connect and send a signal and the receiver will pick up the signal from above.
